Description
This little fawn was probably born within a few hours of getting to take this fantastic shot as it was still too week to stand. We did not touch it or disturb the little one. The mommy doe was sure to be close by. My son in law was about to mow this wooded property when the fawn was spotted. He came and got us to take pictures. I have a zoom so getting a close up was no problem. We are fortunate to have abundant wildlife in our area. The deer eat our flowers and the bucks tear up bushes scraping their horns, but that is OK as we love to watch them. I am a painter and an amateur photographer and hope you enjoy my gallery.

Thanks Ana! We have watched this little deer grow up this year. We have a small herd of deer that frequent our neighborhood grazing on our flower gardens! LOL Love to watch them.

Wow! What a fabulous capture of this little cutie, Jimmie! I look forward to you doing a painting of it, too. Totally adorable. f/l
Jimmie Bartlett replied:
Thanks AnnaJo for the uplifting comments. I may paint it, but could never do it justice. They are so beautiful and helpless when so little.
