Description

As for Me and My House, We Will Serve the Lord, is an inspirational scripture found in the Christian Bible, Joshua, verse 24:15. I am a Christian so this is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. The sign is 7 inches wide and 24 inches long on 1/2 inch thick birch plywood. To get the crackle effect, the first layer of paint is applied and when dry apply the crackle media (essentially a thinned clear glue) and let it dry. Then brush or spray on the last coat of paint and let it dry. As it dries, the crackling occurs. Only brush the last coat on once, don't apply over again as it will mess up the crackling effect. I enjoy doing it
I usually hand letter most of my signs, but for this presentation decided to take a picture of the blank and put the lettering on digitally.
