A beautiful Variable Bunting came to our bird bath yesterday and Carolyn took several great photos of it. The colors on this little bird are breath taking. They do not stay long and only sit for a moment so we have learned to shoot fast.

I am a painter and love the processes and the creation of a painting. As a child growing up I had a natural tendency to draw and build things. I spent most of my working life in the technical field, but the yearning to fulfill my desire to draw and paint was strong, and I found my real passion was to paint. With the gracious support of my wife Carolyn, painting full time became a reality. For me, painting is a gift from God, and the ultimate release of creativity. I paint subjects that catch my eye or from my imagination and don't specialize in any particular area of painting; but, want to make every one of my works special.
