The 'Cape Hatteras Lighthouse' is an original fine art painting in acrylics on a 24 by 12 inch gallery canvas. The Hatteras Lighthouse is the tallest of the out banks lights and has the unique black and white spiral stripes painted on it. I chose to paint this one on vertical canvas and the size is perfect for hanging in those wall spaces needing something special.
I am a painter and love the processes and the creation of a painting. As a child growing up I had a natural tendency to draw and build things. I spent most of my working life in the technical field, but the yearning to fulfill my desire to draw and paint was strong, and I found my real passion was to paint. With the gracious support of my wife Carolyn, painting full time became a reality. For me, painting is a gift from God, and the ultimate release of creativity. I paint subjects that catch my eye or from my imagination and don't specialize in any particular area of painting; but, want to make every one of my works special.
