A very large longhorn that lives in Angleton, Texas in a pasture close to the fairgrounds. Look at the size of those horns! Longhorns used to be the primary cattle species in the 1800s due to their ruggedness and ability to stand the heat. They ranged wild and were rounded up by the cowboys for trail drives to market.
I am a painter and love the processes and the creation of a painting. As a child growing up I had a natural tendency to draw and build things. I spent most of my working life in the technical field, but the yearning to fulfill my desire to draw and paint was strong, and I found my real passion was to paint. With the gracious support of my wife Carolyn, painting full time became a reality. For me, painting is a gift from God, and the ultimate release of creativity. I paint subjects that catch my eye or from my imagination and don't specialize in any particular area of painting; but, want to make every one of my works special.
