The 'Birds Out on a Limb' is an original painting in acrylics on a 16 by 24 inch gallery canvas. I was very fortunate to get a picture taken that captured this unique pose to paint from. From left to right the birds are a Little blue heron, a White Ibis, and a Snowy Egret perched on a big old limb. The White Ibis is landing perfectly between the other two. The birds are silhouetted against the sky sitting on a rustic limb which I painted with a palette knife. The use of brush and palette creates a nice contrast. I am very happy with the end results. I hope your enjoy the work.
This wildlife painting captures a unique scene that will add bright colors to your room or office and sure to be noticed by your family and friends as fine art.

I paint subjects that catch my eye or from my imagination and don't specialize in any particular area of painting; but, want to make every one of my works special. I enjoy all of it: from taking photographs one day and on to painting landscapes or portraits the next day. ...
