A very fortunate photograph I got of a Coast Guard helicopter patrolling Quintana Beach near Freeport, Texas. We were enjoying the water, surf, and people out for the day at the beach when this beautiful red helicopter flew along the beach making sure all was ok. I have always admired the Coast Guard for the challenges they meet keeping us safe.
I am a painter and love the processes and the creation of a painting. As a child growing up I had a natural tendency to draw and build things. I spent most of my working life in the technical field, but the yearning to fulfill my desire to draw and paint was strong, and I found my real passion was to paint. With the gracious support of my wife Carolyn, painting full time became a reality. For me, painting is a gift from God, and the ultimate release of creativity. I paint subjects that catch my eye or from my imagination and don't specialize in any particular area of painting; but, want to make every one of my works special. I enjoy all of it: from taking photographs one day and on to painting landscapes or portraits the next day. ...
