Description
Poppies on Black Canvas is painted freestyle on a 20x16 inch canvas. This is one of my early paintings learning to paint flowers. I had no plan, just playing with brush strokes and enjoying the black background. The painting sold quickly after posting it. Several years later I found a photo of the painting and was going to run prints and found the exposure to have lots of glare and was not the best for making prints. Since it was one of my early works that sold, I removed the glare from the back ground using photoshop to fix the image to look like the original work. The digital touchup was worth it, as it was a painting from my beginnings in my journey as an artist. I hope you like the painting. All of my art work images are copy right protected by law.
