Artist's Description
The El Presidio mission/fort is located in Goliad, Texas and is a historical site. During the Texas war for independence from Mexico, General Santa Anna invaded Texas to put down the rebellion and captured Colonel Fannin and his regiment near the El Presidio. The prisioners were marched to the fort and held for a short period after which they were all shot. Colonel Fanin was forced to watch the executions and was the last to die. Enactments of the event are held yearly in memorial.

I paint subjects that catch my eye or from my imagination and don't specialize in any particular area of painting; but, want to make every one of my works special. I enjoy all of it: from taking photographs one day and on to painting landscapes or portraits the next day. ...
